At just 23 years old, Austin-based singer-songwriter Parker McCollum is already earning comparisons to critically acclaimed artists like Ryan Bingham and John Mayer.
McCollum recently released EP Probably Wrong – Session Two. The latest installment of his upcoming full length album Probably Wrong, which is due out this November, features main track “Misunderstood,” which he performed at his main stage debut at Billy Bob’s earlier this summer.
“The songs on Probably Wrong reflect some trying times of last year. Some heartaches, some f-you’s and some realization that everything is going to be okay. The band and I are beyond ready for this new music to be out there. A lot has changed since Limestone Kid and through these new tunes, we can tell those stories,” McCollum shares.
This latest EP follows the success of his Probably Wrong – Session ONE which quickly staked its claim at the top of the iTunes Country Albums chart and Top 10 All-Genre chart upon release. It features McCollum’s current single, “I Can’t Breathe”.
Probably Wrong, produced by GRAMMY Award-winning Lloyd Maines, will come out later this year as the third and final component to the unconventional release. McCollum’s full length album will also include exclusive bonus content.
Already known by fans for his stellar performing and songwriting skills, McCollum is on tour now through the Fall in support of his new releases.
